Small businesses are the backbone of America's economy—but too often, they are overlooked, under served, and left navigating policies and systems that fail to recognize their unique challenges.
As a nationally recognized small business advocate, Olalah works to ensure that entrepreneurs and business owners have a seat at the table where decisions are made. Her work is rooted in economic equity, policy influence, and business representation. Her passion is in shaping conversations that impact America's 35+ million small businesses.
Olalah’s advocacy is backed by a distinguished track record of leadership and recognition. She holds a governor-appointed seat on the NCWorks Commission, where she represents North Carolina’s small business community in shaping workforce policies that directly impact business owners and job creators. Appointed by two governors from different political affiliations, she is a respected voice in economic policy, bridging perspectives to drive thoughtful, non-partisan solutions. She was honored as a Lewis Shattuck Small Business Advocate of the Year, a once-in-a-lifetime recognition from the National Small Business Association (NSBA) for her outstanding contributions to small business initiatives.
Whether meeting with policymakers, advising organizations, or spearheading initiatives that foster fair and sustainable growth, she is committed to ensuring that America's small businesses thrive regardless of the political landscape.
"She gives a voice to small businesses."
